Maulana Abdul Hakeem (رحمہ الله)
The founder of Jamia Furqania Madania was Hakeem e Millat Hazrat Maulana Abdul Hakeem (رحمہ الله), a distinguished scholar who acquired his religious education from renowned Islamic institutions in India. After the partition of the subcontinent, he established Jamia Furqania in Rawalpindi in 1959.
He was counted among the eminent scholars of his time and also served as a Member of the National Assembly and a Senator of Pakistan. With deep devotion to the cause of Islamic education, he founded the Jamia to promote the teachings of Islam and dedicated his life to the spiritual and educational uplift of the people, guiding them towards the light of religious knowledge.
Molana Abdul Majeed Hazarvi
Shaykh al-Ḥadīth Maulana Abdul Majeed Hazarvi is a distinguished scholar who acquired his education in Islamic sciences both within Pakistan and abroad. He is a renowned Islamic scholar and an eloquent speaker, widely respected among scholars and the general public alike. He is well known for providing guidance and resolving people’s religious and social issues. Currently, he serves as the Director General of Jamia Furqania Madania, overseeing all administrative and academic affairs of the institution.
